Breastfeeding Support
Breastfeeding is a skill. It is new to your baby and it may be to you too. Even if you have breastfed a baby before, issues can crop up that leave you feeling frustrated, worried and depressed. Sometimes even the smallest of changes can make a massive difference to achieving your feeding goals and, as a trained and accredited Breastfeeding Counsellor, I can come to you for a 60 minute in person appointment where we will talk about your feeding history & current issues. I will support you with positioning and attachment as needed, and help you to formulate a plan to achieve your feeding goals. I will follow up with you after 24 hours by telephone/Zoom and will be available for virtual support for 7 days after my visit.

Tongue Tie Assessment
Tongue Tie can play a huge role in feeding challenges but the good news is that it can be resolved with early identification.
I am an accredited Breastfeeding Counsellor and Tongue Tie Assessor and during our 90 minute in person appointment, we will talk about your feeding history & current issues. I will support you with positioning and attachment as needed, and help formulate a plan to achieve your feeding goals. I can assess your baby for tongue tie and, if applicable, refer on to NHS colleagues (or privately for which you will need to pay the practitioner) for release. I will follow up with you after 24 hours by telephone/Zoom & am available for virtual support for 7 days after visit.
